Gate officially launches coin holding interest products

Gate has officially launched the holding coin interest feature, bringing users a new way to increase asset value. With just one click to activate the designated token, users can automatically earn profits through spot holdings without the need for locking up assets, keeping their assets flexible and available.

Supported Token Range

The tokens supported in the first phase include: BTC, ETH, GT, SOL, POL, SUI, ALGO, DOT, ATOM, AVAX, INJ, APT, ZETA and FLR.

Revenue Calculation Method

The daily profit calculation formula is:

• Daily Income = Average Holding of Coins × Annualized Yield (APR) / 365

Earnings Distribution Rules

• After the user activates the function, the system will start taking snapshots of eligible tokens and calculating the average holding amount at 16:00 (UTC+8) the next day.
• Earnings will be distributed to the spot account on the following day.
• The first profit will be distributed on the day after the snapshot (i.e., the second day after the launch) from 08:00 to 16:00 (UTC+8).
• Daily earnings will be credited to the spot account thereafter, but there may be delays due to network latency or system calculation factors.

How to Enable Coin Staking

1. Start through the spot account (Web) Enter the spot account, click the earn interest button below the coin, the button turns green, and the earn interest function is successfully activated.

2. Start through the Coin Staking page Enter the financial management page, select holding coins for interest, and click activate to successfully start.

Notes

1. To receive rewards for holding coins, users must meet the minimum holding requirements for each token. At the same time, there is a cap on the holding amount that qualifies for interest calculations, and any excess will not earn additional rewards. 2. The annualized yield of holding coins for interest (APR) may change daily, and the specific value will be adjusted based on market conditions and other factors to ensure stable and competitive returns.

3. The first staking rewards will be distributed to users' spot accounts between 08:00 and 16:00 on the day following the snapshot (i.e., the second day after activation) (UTC+8). Thereafter, the coin interest earnings will be distributed daily to the spot accounts; however, due to unforeseen factors such as network delays and system calculations, there may be delays in the distribution of rewards.

4. Holding coins for interest currently only supports the web version.
