Mining company Hut 8's subsidiary American Bitcoin has announced the launch of a shareholder vote for the merger transaction with Gryphon.
On August 6, Hut 8 Corp (HUT), a publicly listed mining company in the US, announced that its subsidiary American Bitcoin has entered the shareholder voting phase for the stock swap merger with Gryphon Digital Mining. Gryphon will hold a special shareholder meeting on August 27, where registered shareholders as of July 25 will vote. The transaction is expected to be completed in early September 2025, and after the merger, it will operate under the American Bitcoin brand and be listed on the NASDAQ exchange with the stock code "ABTC."
