Abstract generation in progress

On August 30, according to Global Network reports, the Dongxihu Branch of the Wuhan Public Security Bureau in Hubei Province dismantled a gang disguised as a technology company engaging in telecom fraud. The suspects forged a "high-quality matchmaking female" script for dating, luring netizens to a fake platform for Virtual Money investment scams. 30 criminal suspects were arrested on site, and over 40 work computers and over 50 work mobile phones used for the fraud were confiscated, along with more than 100 scripts, packaging persona materials, and photos. The suspects would send fake investment websites to victims after they showed interest, enticing them to purchase Virtual Money and invest in the fake platform. The profits were controllable by the scammers, but withdrawals could not be successful. Currently, 27 of the involved suspects have been criminally detained, and 3 have been administratively detained, with the police further handling the case according to the law.
