Anthropic approaches co-investment with multiple Wall Street institutions to jointly invest $1.5 billion in establishing a joint venture company
According to Beating Monitoring, The Wall Street Journal, citing sources familiar with the matter, Anthropic is finalizing an agreement to establish a new joint venture with Blackstone Group, Goldman Sachs, and several other Wall Street institutions, aimed at selling AI tools to private equity-backed companies.
Sources say the news could be announced as early as Monday. Anthropic, Blackstone Group, and Hellman & Friedman are each expected to invest approximately $300 million; Goldman Sachs will also participate in the investment.
