Golden Finance reports that Tomasz K. Stańczak, the new co-executive director of the Ethereum Foundation, stated in a post that there is an important EOF discussion today, but there is a key misunderstanding that needs to be clarified:
The current EOF discussion is not related to the Pectra upgrade scheduled for May 7th. The Pectra upgrade does not include EOF, nor is there an intention to include EOF. Everything regarding Pectra is proceeding as planned, and it is expected to be released on May 7th (EIP-7600: Hardfork Meta - Pectra [DRAFT]).
Today's EOF discussion involves the upcoming network upgrade Fusaka, which does not yet have a confirmed timeline, but we plan to implement it in Q3/Q4 (around September/October).
