Teixeira joined the Bearish Traders National Guard in Massachusetts in September 2019 as a Network Transport Systems Technician. He was arrested by the FBI on April 13 last year on suspicion of leaking classified documents of the United States military, including intelligence on the Russia-Ukraine conflict, as well as high-level government officials in Korea and Israel suspected of being monitored by United States intelligence services. On March 4 of this year, Teixeira pleaded guilty in a federal court in Boston. According to the plea protocol, Teixeira faces between 11 and 16 years and eight months in prison.
