Chairman of the Hong Kong Regtech Association: Investors may favor products related to ESG and digital assets

Golden Finance reported that Angelina Chow, Chairwoman of the Hong Kong Regtech Association, stated that with the growing popularity of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) in the market, investors may favor products that are related to both ESG and digital assets. Some ETFs involving multiple asset classes will also be the target for investors, believing that they will help control risks. Investors lack sufficient understanding of the advantages of cryptocurrency assets, and their views may be somewhat negative. They believe that the industry needs to do more in terms of investor education to promote the development of this field. To encourage investor participation in the cryptocurrency market, regulators also need to improve regulations to ensure investor safety.
