Lenovo Group: Will locally deploy DeepSeek large model on AI PC side
On February 20th, Golden Ten Data reported that Lenovo Group announced its performance for the third quarter ending December 31, 2024, with revenue of 135.1 billion RMB, a rise of 20% year-on-year; net profit of 4.98 billion RMB, a rise of 106% year-on-year. At the same time of announcing the performance, Lenovo Group announced that it will deploy the DeepSeek large model on the AI PC side locally, making it the first AI PC brand in the world to deploy this large model on the edge. It is reported that previously, the small Tian personal intelligent entity in Lenovo’s Lenovo Tianxi Personal Intelligent Body System (Tianxi AS) has fully accessed the DeepSeek-R1 online version of the large model.
