Donald Trump Jr. denied rumors that his father's social media platform, Truth Social, would launch a meme coin.

Recently, meme coin projects allegedly associated with Donald Trump's social media initiative Truth Social have begun to spread rapidly in the cryptocurrency market. Some of these projects have started trading on platforms such as Ethereum and Solana, causing uncertainty among investors. However, Donald Trump Jr. put an end to these rumors with a definitive statement in a post he made yesterday.

In a post he shared on the social media platform X, Trump Jr. stated, "The information circulating about Truth Social launching a meme coin is completely false. Do not fall for this fake information." The decentralized finance project World Liberty Financial, known for its close ties to the Trump family, also made a clear statement, asserting that they are currently the only DeFi project supported by the Trump family, and that all other projects have been launched by scammers.

On the other hand, in the shareholder letter published by the Truth Social platform last April, it was noted that there are plans to issue a reward token linked to a digital wallet for users in the future. However, it is understood that this token will not be a meme coin, but rather a project aimed at creating its own internal economy. This development could increase speculation among investors regarding genuine Trump-supported tokens.
