😘 @Aptos Why is it so suitable for payments? The key actually lies in four points: Liquidity, transaction efficiency, scalability, and application revenue. Aptos does quite well in these aspects.
First, let's talk about stablecoins. There are already over $1.4 billion worth of stablecoins on Aptos, which has grown 11 times compared to last year, with a monthly trading volume exceeding $30 billion, and the liquidity is absolutely sufficient. In addition, with the transaction speed of 125 milliseconds per block, transactions are completed in an instant, and the settlement speed is particularly fast, providing an excellent experience.
The scalability is impressive as well, with peak TPS breaking 19,000 and the transaction fees being extremely low, averaging only 0.0005 USD. This really brings down the costs for payment applications. Most importantly, the application revenue is also strong; in June, the Dex trading volume hit a record high, with a trading volume of 500 million USD generating over 850,000 USD in ecological revenue, growing for nine consecutive months, indicating that the ecological vitality is quite strong.
Another trend is the increasing tokenization of real assets on Aptos, with over $540 million of real assets already on-chain, including private credit and institutional funds. This indicates that Aptos is not only technically strong but also has a growing ecosystem, making the environment for payment and financial applications increasingly mature.
