Du Jun from ABCDE Lianchuang shares the marketing strategies to become an outstanding CMO.
At an event themed around growth strategies, Du Jun, CEO of ABCDE and Xinhuo Technology, delivered a speech on "The Art of Becoming an Excellent CMO." He emphasized that companies need to have the ability to transcend cycles, clarify their positioning and value creation, and possess effective methodologies.
Du Jun believes that excellent products and brands should be industry leaders or unique. He suggests that product positioning can adopt a strategy of "avoiding the strong, attaching to the strong, and being strong." In terms of value propositions, user needs are the starting point, and the uniqueness of the product is key. When discussing marketing methods, whether influencing user mindset or guiding decisions, the core is to capture the real needs of users, with the ultimate goal being to promote sales.
For corporate marketing strategies, Du Jun proposed two approaches: powerful companies can adopt the strategy of "focusing on the big while letting go of the small," while resource-limited companies can choose "maintaining the right while seeking the unusual." He emphasized that marketing is a strategy that requires a holistic and long-term perspective. Therefore, the CEO must either have a deep understanding of marketing or fully trust the marketing team.
Du Jun also discussed the importance of pricing strategies, believing that price is one of the key means of competition for enterprises. He suggested that companies should clearly define pricing objectives and dynamically adjust strategies based on market changes. In terms of brand public relations, he proposed four levels of brand pricing capability: awareness, preference, category, and identity.
Finally, Du Jun emphasized the core position of integrity in public relations. He suggested that even in the face of a crisis, enterprises should remain calm, actively respond, and avoid adopting a避 or overly aggressive attitude.
The speech took place during a two-day event held in Singapore. The event focused on rise strategies, inviting top projects and investors that have recently achieved significant rise, and engaging in in-depth discussions on topics such as personal branding, marketing strategies, community culture, and user acquisition.
