Recently, the Bitcoin market has once again attracted widespread attention. Well-known Bitcoin supporter Michael Saylor stated that most capital from digital assets will flow into Bitcoin. He pointed out that the number of companies holding Bitcoin has increased from 60 to 160, and its performance has even surpassed that of the S&P 500 index.
This statement coincides with the actions of the El Salvador government. It is reported that El Salvador increased its holdings by 8 Bitcoins in a week, bringing its total holdings to 6263 coins. These movements seem to indicate that institutional investors are gradually entering the cryptocurrency market.
Bitcoin's current performance is indeed remarkable. Its price has surpassed $118,500, rising by 1.86% in the last 24 hours. However, Ethereum (ETH) has also performed impressively, with a market capitalization exceeding $500 billion, ranking 25th among global assets. This indicates that other cryptocurrencies may also get a piece of the pie.
Nevertheless, there are still some uncertainties in the market. Galaxy Digital transferred 224,000 Solana (SOL) worth $41.12 million to a centralized exchange in a short period, which may put some selling pressure on SOL.
Overall, while Bitcoin may maintain its dominance in the short term, investors should not overlook the opportunities that other cryptocurrencies may bring in the fourth quarter of 2023. The cryptocurrency market is undergoing dynamic changes, and investors need to stay vigilant and closely follow market trends.
