Boundaries and Limits: Mature Social Skills
Understanding moderation is an inner strength of maturity.
When we care too much about something, we often can't help but intervene; on the surface, it seems like sharing experience, but in reality, it stems from anxiety about the unknown.
We want to control, because control brings a temporary sense of security; however, the tighter we hold on, the more likely we are to fall into anxiety, and it also makes the other person lose space.
The boundary is like a balance scale in the heart, reminding us when to approach and when to retreat.
True care is not about forcefully guiding the direction, but about silently providing support and trust, lighting a lamp when the other party needs it, while protecting one's own heart from being bound by others' decisions.
Mature individuals understand: boundaries are not about isolation, but rather a guarantee of freedom and safety; knowing how to maintain moderation allows one to keep a balance between care and respect.
