The narrative of Ondo is perfect. Secure, stable, backed by BlackRock... what could go wrong?
Well, maybe 85% of the tokens that have not yet hit the market.
Institutions and VCs buy the product (OUSG), which is safe. Meanwhile, retail investors buy the governance token (ONDO), betting that the project will grow.
The problem is that we are sitting on a time bomb of "unlocks". Every few months, a new wave of tokens from the insiders can flood the market.
It seems like a game of two decks: one safe for the institutions and another much riskier for us.
