A certain intern at the TON Foundation issued coins on pump.fun live stream and has now been fired.

On September 15, the TON Foundation published a statement saying, "We have noticed that recent actions by an intern at the TON Foundation have raised some questions and concerns within the community. To clarify: this individual issued a personal Meme Token on pump.fun and promoted it on social media and live broadcasts using a personal X account with the TON logo. During this time, they also proposed some future plans for the Token, but shortly thereafter, the related posts were deleted, the live broadcast was halted, and the project was abandoned. This was not an initiative of the Foundation, and the Foundation has never approved or supported this project. However, given that this person is responsible for managing the official TON X account while also using an account with the TON logo to promote this Token, we understand that this may cause confusion and undermine trust. We take this matter very seriously. This behavior is inconsistent with our values and does not meet the standards we require of anyone representing the TON Foundation (regardless of their role). Effective immediately, the Foundation has terminated this individual's collaboration with the TON Foundation for this reason."
