Gold surges, crude oil takes off, but Bitcoin has made a decisive "V-shaped rebound": Is the safe-haven label about to be "confirmed"?

As geopolitical tensions escalate and the US confronts Iran, the market's first reaction is always to rush into gold and crude oil. But this time, Bitcoin has broken above $70,000 with a clean "V-shaped rebound," prompting many to reconsider: Is its safe-haven attribute finally shifting from "storytelling" to "validation"?

The key lies in the structure. If BTC quickly rebounds with increased volume after retesting $70,000 and closes above the key moving averages on the daily chart, it indicates that funds are not driven by emotional bottom-fishing but are organized support. The $70,000 level is not just a round number; it’s a psychological anchor—holding above it boosts bullish confidence, while falling below could amplify bearish narratives.

But don’t rush to crown it "digital gold" just yet. True safe-haven assets must withstand multiple shocks and maintain stable output. If gold and oil retreat but BTC remains strong and sideways, that’s a sign of growing recognition. In the short term, watch whether breakouts are accompanied by increased volume and open interest; in the medium term, look for the formation of higher lows and higher highs.

$70,000 is not the end; it’s the exam.
