In February 2026, Indonesia's refined nickel production decreased by 3.03% month-on-month

According to Mysteel’s survey and statistics, Indonesia’s refined nickel production in February 2026 is expected to be 9,600 tons, a decrease of 3.03% month-on-month but an increase of 113.33% year-on-year. The total production for January-February 2026 is 19,500 tons, a year-on-year increase of 114.29%. Currently, Indonesian refined nickel companies have a capacity of 10,000 tons, with a capacity utilization rate of 96.00%. The estimated refined nickel production in Indonesia for March 2026 is 9,900 tons, a month-on-month increase of 3.13% and a year-on-year increase of 90.38%. (My Steel Network)
