The Hong Kong Monetary Authority announced that “Hong Kong Green Week 2026” will be held from September 7 to 11, with the theme “Empowering the Future, Building Sustainable Development Together.” The event will gather participants from around the world to share diverse and practical insights, aiming to inspire collective efforts in driving Asia’s sustainable transformation.

This year’s event is organized by the HKMA and divided into two parts—main activities include large-scale conferences and forums to promote cross-sector and cross-regional交流, while peripheral activities feature more targeted discussions such as roundtables, workshops, and seminars.

The activities will focus on six key areas, which are crucial for Asia to maintain sustainable development amid the rapidly changing global landscape: inclusive transformation, climate adaptation and resilience, green technology, green trade and supply chain resilience, nature and biodiversity conservation, and social impact investing.

Hong Kong Green Week has been held since 2024. The second edition last year brought together over 65 local and international public and private organizations, hosting more than 40 events in various formats. It attracted over 14,500 participants from more than 75 regions worldwide, further elevating Hong Kong’s status as a hub for sustainable development dialogue.
