# "Old Retail Investor's Final Battle: 5000U Survival Path" Day 5

**Today's Results: -65 USDT**

1. Three main losses today were caused by two instances of chasing highs and one chasing dev new coins. I couldn't control my impulses—mentally I'm still impatient, always wanting to make money and afraid of missing opportunities. I need to be more humble and patient.

2. Looking at the corpses of whales I've tracked, basically all the pools are not small, so picking garbage pools requires reference. I'll just pick the ones that catch my eye.

3. Using the webpage memo function to directly note the whale address history, preferences, etc., and slowly filter out more whale addresses with compatible trading styles that I understand.

4. This strategy was originally intended to monitor whale movements—when I see them enter, I can catch the inertia, and other addresses would continue following. Now I see that while this situation does exist, it's pitifully rare. The vast majority of whales just take one trade and disappear, like they're maintaining a dummy account, or even if I follow, there's no subsequent trading activity and they just play dead.
