These days, while helping the DAO with reconciliation, I took a look at the liquidation records and found that some people didn't just have the wrong direction; it was the oracle price feed being slow by half a beat that caused the trap… The price clearly has already recovered, but on-chain calculations are still based on the old quote, and your position is like being "frozen" at the worst second, with liquidations happening without any mercy. To put it simply, leverage is about timing, and delayed price feeds are others deciding for you "which second counts." I now prefer to keep my positions smaller and leave a larger buffer, not betting that it will always be on time. Recently, hardware wallets have been out of stock, and phishing links are everywhere. People’s safety awareness has improved, but don’t just guard against external bad actors; system-level delays can also take you out… That’s all for now.
