If you're on social media or the crypto world, you've probably seen numbers like 100K, 1M, 1B and didn't know exactly what they meant. I also got confused at first, so I decided to clarify this.

Let's start with the basics. The K comes from Kilo and represents a thousand. So when you see 100K, we're talking about 100k. Simple, right? Some examples: 10K is 10k, 50K is 50k. It's the fastest way to write large numbers without filling the screen with zeros.

Now, 1M means million. A million is 1M. You see this all the time on YouTube with subscribers. A channel with 5M has 5 million followers. In cryptocurrencies, we also constantly use it to talk about volumes or market caps.

And then there's 1B, which is a billion. This is already a serious amount. 10B is 10 billion. You see this in market caps of big projects or company valuations.

To make it easier to remember, here’s a quick rundown: K = thousand (1,000), M = million (1M), B = billion (1B). So when someone says something reached 100K, you already know it's 100k units.

If you work online, whether in trading, YouTube, freelancing, or anything in crypto, these terms will appear constantly. It’s not just a social media fad; it’s the standard way to communicate large numbers quickly and efficiently. Understanding what 100K means and the rest of the abbreviations saves you time and confusion.
