Leading cryptocurrency Bitcoin (BTC) continued its sideways course, while the largest altcoin Ethereum (ETH) surpassed $3,100 over the weekend. While BTC remains relatively inactive compared to ETH, investors are wondering if there will be a correction in the BTC price. At this point, Alex Kuptsikevich, senior market analyst at FxPro, told Coindeks that Bitcoin could see a short-term correction to $47,000.
