According to a report by crypto.news, Harikrishnan Mulackal, a former Solidity expert and compiler engineer at the Ethereum Foundation, stated that the lack of a clear development vision for Ethereum has led to a stagnation in changes to the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM). Mulackal suggested that Ethereum needs more decisive leadership; otherwise, the only viable path is stagnation—no further changes. He called for a reduction in research and a focus on product delivery, recommending a hard fork update to be released quarterly. Meanwhile, the Ethereum Foundation continues to sell ETH, and its relatively flat price performance may be constraining its development.
