On September 2, Slow Mist's Yu Xin updated the Venus security incident on the X platform as follows: 1. The Venus protocol should be fine, but the possibility of the Venus frontend being hijacked cannot be ruled out, and phishing attacks targeting Large Investors may have been initiated (the Venus team can also check this part); 2. Large Investors' computers may have been targeted for poisoning attacks (under investigation); 3. The Hacker is very premeditated, and the source of funds is somewhat complex, with gas coming from XMR exchanges; 4. Large Investors and Slow Mist are in contact, and many details will not be elaborated on for now. Additionally, the actual loss may not exceed 20 million USD.
