PANews May 24th news, according to the latest proposal voting results, Alchemix DAO will donate 15 ETH to the legal defense fund of Roman Storm and Alexey Pertsev (Free Alexey & Roman).
Alexey Pertsev and Roman Storm, two developers who contributed to Tornado Cash, were arrested in different jurisdictions after the implementation of OFAC sanctions in 2022. Their trials in 2024 set important precedents for developers, privacy protocols, and the wider encryption industry. Alexey's first trial took place on March 26th of this year (with the verdict and potential further legal actions scheduled for mid-May), while Roman's trial is scheduled for late September.
