Ark Invest Sold Its Own Bitcoins, Invested the Money in This Stock! - Coin Bulletin
Cathie Wood leading Ark Invest made significant purchases on Wednesday, investing in assets such as Robinhood Markets Inc., ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF, and 3iQ Solana Staking ETF.
Ark Invest’s flagship fund ARK Innovation ETF (ARKK) purchased 60,266 shares from Robinhood Markets Inc. This transaction was worth approximately 2.45 million dollars and took place during a period when Robinhood’s stock experienced a 7.76% decline.
The stock closed at 40.66 dollars on Wednesday, losing value due to uncertainty in the market following Jerome Powell’s statements on inflation and trade tariffs. Robinhood is largely based on retail investors, making it sensitive to market fluctuations, which could negatively impact the company’s performance.
Bitcoin ETFs are making a comeback
Ark Invest sold 31,817 shares of the ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF through its (ARKW) fund, the ARK Next Generation Internet ETF. The transaction, valued at $2.7 million, comes at a time when Bitcoin ETFs are showing signs of recovery. It is stated that there has been a net inflow of $76.4 million into Bitcoin ETFs recently, which indicates a positive turnaround in the markets. The (BTC) of Bitcoin rose 1% in the 24-hour period to $84,350.98.
Ark Invest also acquired 500,000 shares in the 3iQ Solana Staking ETF. The transaction was worth $5.2 million. The ETF begins trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
