PayPal has announced plans to launch a rewards program this summer for users holding its stablecoin, PYUSD. U.S. users who keep PYUSD in their PayPal or Venmo wallets will earn a 3.7% annual yield, accrued daily and paid out monthly. Rewards will be distributed in PYUSD, which can be exchanged for fiat, sent to others, used for international transfers, or spent through PayPal Checkout.
