ChainCatcher news, Deribit APAC Business Head Lin stated that the current Bitcoin Volatility Index (DVOL) is 47.08, in the low volatility range, with implied volatility below the level for 96.4% of the past year. Lin stated that under the current market conditions, if investors choose to sell Bitcoin call options with a strike price of $98,000 at the end of May, they could achieve a 4.2% coin-based yield, with an annualized return of approximately 25.58%. They would profit if the BTC is below $102,000 (break-even point) at expiration.
