The second largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, Ethereum, has continued to lag behind Bitcoin’s rise in recent months.

Famous trader Peter Brandt warned that Ethereum could lose more value against Bitcoin. Brandt pointed out the ongoing downtrend in the ETH/BTC pair.

According to the data, Bitcoin increased by 53% on an annual basis, while Ethereum lost 42% of its value. Brandt shared a chart related to the ETH/BTC pair in response to a user’s post on platform X and emphasized that Ethereum has lost momentum against Bitcoin in recent months. The chart shows that Ethereum has been unable to keep up with Bitcoin’s rise momentum and that the loss of value is continuing.

On the other hand, there was a positive development for Ethereum. Ethereum ETFs in the US recorded net inflows for the first time after eight weeks of outflows. Although there was a modest inflow of approximately 40,000 ETH, this situation is seen as a positive change signal in investor sentiment.

At the moment the news was written, Ethereum is finding buyers at the level of 1,828 dollars.
