Space and Time Launches Foundation Debuts to Advance ZK-Proven Crypto Infrastructure
The Space and Time Foundation has been launched to support the next stage of growth and decentralization within the Space and Time ecosystem. The Foundation’s strategy shifts from a corporate-led model to an independently run organisation that emphasizes community involvement, decentralisation, and the future of the network.
The core objectives of this foundation are to support the network’s operation, coordinate key stakeholders, and facilitate continued research and adoption of Space and Time’s core technologies. MakeInfinite Labs’ independence from its founding entity will allow the Foundation to concentrate on building legal, operational, and technical frameworks to grow across multiple jurisdictions.
Transition and Continued Contributions from MakeInfinite Labs
Nate Holiday, CEO of MakeInfinite Labs, formerly Space and Time Labs, will continue in the ecosystem. This team was vital in developing key enabling technologies like the Proof of SQL, a zero-knowledge (ZK) coprocessor for verifiable query computation, and the Space and Time database infrastructure.
The Foundation will build on its responsibility for governance and development. Additionally, MakeInfinite Labs will stay active in enterprise integrations, ZK research, and application layer innovation. This transition provides the community with continuity in technical leadership and innovation and allows greater participation in shaping the network going forward.
Leadership and Community Engagement Initiatives
Key contributors from MakeInfinite Labs will take positions at the Foundation to ensure consistency in leadership. Co-founder and Contributor #001 Scott Dykstra will lead engineering and developer relations, and Catherine Daly will be Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and responsible for ecosystem expansion and community initiatives.
The Foundation is governed by an independent Board of Directors responsible for strategic planning and treasury management. Future initiatives include developer funding programs, hackathons, and outreach programs. These programs aim to encourage using ZK-proven data in applications within the blockchain, artificial intelligence, and enterprise sectors.
With infrastructure support and transparent governance models, the Space and Time Foundation is ready to lead the ecosystem toward the future of scalability, decentralization, and community refinement.
