Ripple announced the amount of XRP it holds in its report for the first quarter of 2025. The total value of the XRP directly controlled by the company is approximately 99 billion dollars.
The San Francisco-based blockchain company Ripple announced in its Q1 2025 report that it held 4 billion 560 million XRP as of March 31. This amount indicates an increase of 1.7 percent compared to the previous quarter.
During the same period, the secure systems in which tokens are locked until certain conditions are met in the custodial accounts, the amount of XRP decreased by 2.3% from 38 billion tokens to 37 billion tokens. Ripple regularly withdraws 1 billion XRP from these custodial accounts each month. However, the company prefers to transfer a significant portion of these released tokens back to the custodial account to keep the supply limited.
The price of XRP is currently at the level of 2.1 dollars. With this price, the total value of the tokens directly controlled by Ripple amounts to 98 billion 600 million dollars.
Finally, the company’s report also includes information that the brokerage firm named Hidden Road has been acquired.
