The real experiences of my friends around me, 7 liquidations, a million in tuition fees. He said that what he learned from the 7 liquidations was not the technique, but how to survive. Today, I'm sharing the three protective rules he earned with blood and tears.
1. Never let your bullets run out. He said this was the most brutal of his 7 liquidations. Since then, he never opens a position more than 20%, going all in is like suicide. There must be at least three times the margin in the account, just like walking on a tightrope, you must have a safety rope. When the market turns against you, cut your position first and think later. If losses exceed 5%, immediately sever your losses to survive.
2. Trading against the trend is equivalent to suicide; trading with the trend is not just a slogan. He said that he is currently breaking below the support line, completely selling off long positions and surrendering short positions after breaking through the resistance level. For intraday operations, keep a close eye on the moving averages, and overnight positions must have two technical signals resonating. He hopes everyone remembers that 80% of profits come from 20% clear market trends; do not trade on movements that are hard to understand.
The most fatal is the third rule: kill the emotions. He said it took him seven liquidations to understand this. When making profits, treat yourself like a machine, and when it comes to stopping losses, it should be as natural as breathing. Every day before the market opens, he silently reminds himself that it's okay to make mistakes. From a gambler who faced liquidation seven times to a stable profit trader, he spent over 2000 days and nights verifying these three iron rules, hoping to help everyone.
