Binance Made Changes for 5 Altcoins It Listed: They Are No Longer Risky! - Coin Bulletin
The world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange Binance has made an important change by removing 5 altcoins listed on the platform from the risky category.
Binance, as a result of the token reviews it conducts at certain intervals, has decided to remove the Seed (tag as of July 21, 2025, for 5 altcoins. According to the statement made; Bonk )BONK(, EigenLayer )EIGEN(, ether.fi )ETHFI(, Pudgy Penguins )PENGU(, and Pepe )PEPE( will no longer carry the Seed label.
The exchange was warning investors with its Seed label that new and innovative projects could carry high volatility and risk. The removal of the Seed label is interpreted as these mentioned altcoins having passed their initial stage and being regarded as more stable and reliable by Binance.

Binance regularly subjects the altcoins on its platform to detailed reviews at certain intervals. In this evaluation process, criteria such as the project team’s commitment to the project, the level and quality of development activities, trading volume, liquidity status, security level of the network, quality of communication with the community, and transparency are taken into account. Additionally, factors such as the speed of responses to Binance’s regular review requests, the existence of unethical activities, sudden changes in supply or tokenomics, changes in project management or the core team, community sentiment, and new regulatory requirements are also considered.
Binance stated that this label change will not affect the other transactions of the relevant altcoins on the platform.
