Google Cloud has launched the L1 Blockchain GCUL, which is currently in the private testing phase.
According to Ha Shijian news, Google Cloud has released its L1 Blockchain project GCUL. This project uses Python-based smart contracts and aims to create a neutral infrastructure for finance, providing "native commercial bank on-chain currency," all-day capital market infrastructure, payment, and agency functions. Currently, GCUL is in the private testing network phase. Earlier this year, Google and the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) announced a partnership to develop a crypto asset pilot, with more technical details to be provided in the coming months.
