Vietnam has just approved a five-year pilot program for cryptocurrency trading platforms, which is the first real step in the country towards regulation.

This is how things usually go: rules and oversight first, freedom later. What matters is that the process has begun. Progress means there is hope that cryptocurrencies will find their place in the system.
