The UK promotes on-chain public debt market and sets up a "Digital Market Supervisor".
According to news from Hashkey, the UK Treasury will establish a "Digital Markets Director" to promote the on-chain transformation of blockchain-based government bond markets. Lucy Rigby, the Treasury's Economic Secretary, stated that a "Paperless Market Taskforce" will be created to oversee the transition from paper equity certificates to electronic formats.
