$PI This “Pi Desktop update” looks impressive… but here’s the part nobody wants to say out loud:
Without enough nodes — the blockchain doesn’t truly exist.
Pi can release fancy software updates every month, but if behind the scenes:
active nodes are too few,
developers are giving up because it’s too expensive & too slow,
hackathon projects are quietly shutting down…
…then the problem is not the technology — the problem is ecosystem survival.
This is not about a beautiful UI.
This is about whether the network can actually live in the real world.
If Pi wants to be a serious chain — not just a movement — then the Core Team MUST ensure:
1. node participation increases,
2. developers have real incentive to stay,
3. mainnet doesn’t get delayed to the point of killing its own future.
Otherwise, the tech will look powerful…
but the stadium will still be empty.
