On November 29, Arthur Hayes directly blasted Monad on a certain podcast.

His words were harsh: this so-called "next-generation ETH killer"? It's just the same old trick—sky-high valuations and extremely low circulating supply. What are the founding team and the venture capitalists behind it thinking? Cashing out and leaving, obviously.

Hayes doesn't believe Monad can compete with Ethereum at all, and he even thinks it's not as good as Solana. As of November 25, the project's performance really hasn't been impressive.

To put it bluntly, it's yet another classic case of an inflated FDV with actual circulation locked up. Retail investors getting in? Better keep your eyes wide open.
