#数字资产市场动态 Christmas holiday is here, and the global trading markets are entering a "staggered休工" mode

On December 24th, many traders can feel the market rhythm changing — from Asia-Pacific to Europe and then North America, stock markets and futures markets almost simultaneously hit the pause button.

Hong Kong stocks move the fastest, closing early during the afternoon session, and the next two trading days are directly holidays, so those wanting to trade will have to wait a bit longer. The US stock market also followed suit, closing early at 2 a.m. Beijing time on December 25th, and remaining closed all day on the 25th. The European markets are similar — Germany and Italy's stock markets are directly closed, while France, the UK, and Spain's stock markets close early and then have two days off.

The futures market is also busy. Gold, energy, and forex futures on CME close at 02:45 a.m. Beijing time on December 25th, while stock index futures close even earlier at 02:15. Intercontinental Exchange's Brent crude oil futures are scheduled to close at 3 a.m. on the 25th.

With this combination of closures, trading volume in global financial markets will definitely shrink significantly. For traders, this is also a signal — liquidity will be relatively poor during the holiday period, and volatility may also change, so preparations should be made in advance. During these days around Christmas, the market will enter a relatively calm cycle, and trading strategies should be adjusted accordingly.

Poor liquidity? Just relax, anyway there's not much market movement to see these days.

Another year of bearish frenzy, my long positions are about to get wiped out again. Poor liquidity means easy to be crushed. Brothers still trying to bottom fish, wake up. CME's timing is really tight, they started closing markets on Christmas Eve. No wonder some say Christmas is the best excuse to harvest the chives. Holidays are actually the favorite time for the big players to strike. When volume shrinks and prices fall, no one can escape. Why not just take a break until next year, why go through all this trouble?

Here comes the harvest again; during the holiday when liquidity is low, it's actually a good time to trap people.

The market is about to close again. How can I make money these days... Liquidity is dead.

It's another day of poor liquidity. I've been slacking off these days, too lazy to watch the market.

Damn, I have to stay up until 2 a.m. monitoring the market again. Might as well just take a holiday directly. With poor liquidity these days, might as well lie low. Anyway, I can't make any money. As Christmas holiday approaches, the whole world is slacking off. The market rhythm is really outrageous.
