Recently, I came across an interesting event—a prominent industry influencer addressed the issue of "address poisoning" scams by endorsing a suggestion from a community member. This incident may seem minor, but the underlying implications are worth deep reflection.
What is being discussed? It’s about building an industry security firewall. There was a case where a user lost 50 million USDT within an hour due to such scams, which is no small matter. When leading figures start to take this issue seriously and actively adopt grassroots community voices, what does it signify?
It indicates that a shift is happening. The reason this community received praise is not because they are big IPs, but because their proposals are valuable in themselves. More importantly, their past performance is evident—they have achieved multiple 30-100x growth in history. But this time, the topic has shifted beyond price to a higher level: "How to participate in shaping the future of the industry."
There is an interesting logical chain here. Most projects are busy creating stories and narratives, while this community is already doing tangible work—delivering influential proposals that gain top-level recognition. This kind of "high-quality consensus" is the most scarce resource. Compared to other projects, prices can rise, but can the community form such deep consensus? Can they truly participate in ecosystem construction? These are two different things.
From market signals, several aspects are worth noting. First is the reassessment of fundamentals—gaining this level of "latent certification" is essentially proof of strength. Second is trend momentum—such communities’ performance is often correlated with the main tokens’ movements. In the current industry focus on security, their influence is rising. Lastly, expectations are opening up—based on past explosive growth and their unique consensus attributes, a new round of upward potential is being reevaluated.
Thinking more deeply, this reveals a future trend: top-tier projects will no longer be judged solely by whose token skyrockets the most, but by which community can produce the most valuable consensus. The ability to generate ideas, participate in ecosystem building, and gain industry recognition are the true sources of long-term value.
So the question is—do you think in the upcoming market cycle, "community consensus" will become a core metric for evaluating projects? Can this deep community’s next wave of market movement truly realize this potential? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments.
