I’ve been digging into @reya_xyz for a while, and the more I look, the clearer it gets: this isn’t a “general-purpose” L2 that later decided to support trading
The rollup itself is designed around trading from the ground up. Execution speed, liquidity depth, and scalability aren’t add ons they’re the starting point
If DeFi actually wants to stand next to traditional markets instead of orbiting around them, this is the kind of infrastructure it needs. Not experiments, not workarounds, but systems built with real trading assumptions
What makes me curious now is the next layer.
Perps?
Spot?
Or something entirely new that only makes sense on this architecture?
What would you want to see built first on Reya?
