Looking back at Bitcoin's annual performance over the years, several interesting patterns have emerged. In 2014, BTC dropped 15.11%, when the crypto market was still exploring; by 2018, the decline narrowed to 5.15%; in 2022, it further decreased to 3.59%.
Interestingly, this number has been gradually decreasing each year. The decline has shifted from double digits to single digits, reflecting the market's continuous maturation. So the question is—what will be the annual decline of BTC in 2026? What will happen if this trend continues?

Ah, if the trend line continues downward, it would have already dropped into negative numbers. The math doesn't seem quite right, brother.

ngl the data looks clean on surface but... statistically speaking, extrapolating three data points to predict 2026 is giving me UST vibes. correlation ≠ causation and all that. market maturity isn't linear, reminds me of 2017 when everyone thought volatility would just smoothly compress forever lmao. what if we hit a black swan instead?

This trend is really crazy. According to this logic, will it be negative in 2026?

If this trend continues, by 2026 BTC would have a negative decline, which would mean it has increased?

According to this logic, the decline in 2026 would have to be negative, right? So that means a rise, haha.
