Ironically, every time I see "all-time high," I think of how the last bubble burst. Data shows open interest reaching new highs, but what about trading volume and user retention? Those who don't mention these data are just telling stories. Lesson from history: the Nikkei index hit a new high in 1997, but what happened then? Interesting, we're starting to hear the "core infrastructure" narrative again. What about blockchain payments, which were discussed last year? Objectively speaking, does this thing have enough liquidity? Do truly large institutions dare to bet? I'm not criticizing; the fundamental reason the market is hot is leverage and gambler psychology. Don't dress it up with the "decentralized pricing" narrative.
