SOL's recent movement is quite interesting. The price is hovering around 139, with the upper Bollinger Band at 139.5 tightly holding it down. Every rebound around 140 gets pushed back. Looking at the chart, the midline at 138.1 is the short-term bottom, and the lower band at 136.8 is the real support.
The MACD indicator is now very critical—DIF and DEA lines are intertwined, and the red energy bars have just started to appear. This indicates that the upward momentum is fading, and the bears are gathering strength. The trading volume is quite flat, with no significant moves, which is a signal.
From a technical perspective, the 140 level is a tricky psychological barrier—several attempts have failed to break through. Going above 140.2 will face even greater resistance. Currently, the price is oscillating near the midline; once it chooses to go down, the target is around 138.2, then in the 137-137.5 range.
If you want to short, entering between 139.2-139.5 is a consideration, with a stop-loss set above 140.2. This way, the stop-loss risk is about 0.7%, and the target profit is 1.5-2%, offering a good risk-reward ratio. The first target points to around 138.2, and if the trade goes well, you can continue to watch the 137-137.5 range.
The key is to never wait for a volume breakout above 140.2 and then hold hard—stop-loss immediately. The market is not very volatile right now, so it’s recommended to operate with small positions, building gradually with 3-5% of total capital each time, setting proper stop-losses, and then just waiting.
The biggest risk in this kind of oscillating market is greed—take profits once the target is reached. The market is always changing, so follow the trend and manage risks properly. If this correction in SOL proceeds smoothly, there should be quite a few gains.

Level 140 is indeed frustrating. I feel like SOL still needs to be held back a bit more; the bearish momentum is almost fully built up.

This 140 level is really annoying; every rebound gets pushed back down, feels like the bears are holding a big move in reserve.

This 140 level is really a bit frustrating. Climbing up again and again only to be pushed down, it's really annoying to watch. Let's wait a bit first, don't rush to get on the train.

Level 140 is really disgusting. How many times have I been pushed back... I agree with the small, incremental approach, greed is the real enemy.

This hurdle of 140 really got stuck, it feels like SOL just can't go up no matter what.

Can't break 140 again. Are we really going to push it down this time? I actually want to go in with a small position, but I'm worried it might fluctuate again..

Level 140 is really amazing. No matter how many times it rebounds, it gets smashed back... This time, I really want to go down. 137.5 is probably the end point.
