Whether you're posting listings or managing the community, it's all for personal gain. Don't always elevate the matter too morally high. Voluntary donations essentially mean giving money to someone else; the money passively ends up in their hands. If they take this money and stash it in their pocket, they should do things for you. Not doing so is untrustworthy, and you are right to criticize them.
