When you strip away all the hype around AI projects, you realize many are just repackaging old technology. At their core, they're essentially wrapping database systems in new packaging and calling it innovation. Real differentiation? That's the hard part everyone seems to skip.

To put it simply, isn't this just Web2's database with a different appearance? I've seen similar failure cases before, like Theranos. True innovation must withstand scrutiny of mechanism design, not just rely on marketing hype.

Data shows that among the projects last year that claimed to be "revolutionary AI," 87% of the core logic was just traditional databases wrapped in a shell. Ironically, these people still have the audacity to say they are disrupting the industry.

Basically, it's just a rebrand with nothing new. Those things claiming to be an AI revolution are actually old-fashioned databases in a new shell; the truly difficult stuff is avoiding the spotlight.

Exactly right, this is the current AI community, everyone is just playing with fancy packaging.

It's just a shell change to sell stories. They slap an AI layer on the database and dare to ask for sky-high funding. LOL

You're absolutely right. This is the common problem in the current Web3 and AI circles. Packaging and re-packaging, but the underlying technology remains the same. Truly differentiated projects are few and far between; most are just hyping concepts.

It's the same old trick again, using a database shell to sell AI... I've seen through it.

Old technology wrapped in an AI shell and claiming to be revolutionary—it's truly ridiculous... Real capable projects have long been out, and what's left are all PPT innovations.

That's right. These days, AI projects are everywhere, but it's really just putting a new shell around old databases and claiming innovation. The truly competitive stuff, on the other hand, no one wants to bother with.

Once you peel back a layer, you'll realize that a bunch of AI projects are just database re-skinning techniques, and the truly differentiated ones are actually avoided by most people.
