How to extract value from AI in 2026? I’ve summarized the approach into a core idea: you must ask the "AI system."

Compared to the methods in 2025, the key addition is this layer of cognition—the "AI system."

The logic is actually simple; when broken down, it consists of three parts:

True output of the AI era = Human insights × Context engineering × Model intelligence

All three dimensions are indispensable. Human insights refer to your depth of understanding of the problem; context engineering is how you structurally feed information to the AI; and model intelligence is the ceiling of the tool itself. To extract value from AI, you need to excel in all three areas—you can't just rely on the model's intelligence, nor only on human ideas. The key is how to connect them together. This is the so-called "AI system" thinking.

ngl this "AI system" framing is basically just prompt engineering with extra steps... which is fine i guess? still feels like paying bridge fees to move liquidity when you could just stay on L2 lol. the real value extraction is figuring out wtf your context window actually costs

That's correct, but I still think it depends on who can truly unite these three aspects into one, as most people are still guessing blindly with prompts.

hypothesis: this is basically the oracle problem but for ai systems, right? context engineering sounds suspiciously like data validation layers... interestingly enough, the real arbitrage opportunity isn't in model intelligence at all, it's in bridging the human-ai gap. feels like we're watching the birth of a new consensus mechanism tbh

That's correct, but the real challenge is to connect these three dimensions. Most people are still using AI just like Google, which is a complete waste.

To be honest, this framework is indeed eye-opening. Only by maximizing all three dimensions can you truly reap the benefits.

To be honest, this formula feels like it's about how to use AI as a real tool rather than just a figurehead. I agree that all three dimensions are indispensable, but the reality is that most people are still struggling with how to write prompts.

Basically, you still have to do it yourself. Just waiting for AI to automatically give you the answers is a dream.
