ngl that's why I'm still using my own local node; the centralized fee structure is just too disgusting.

Layer2 is really annoying, might as well just go with Rollup directly, at least it's more transparent.

Basically, L2 is just a different owner controlling you, right? Gas fees, priority, token selection... all in the hands of the project team. Relayer and paymaster? Sounds advanced, but they're just patches that address the surface, not the root cause. True power has never been given to the users.
