2026年开年,BTC在97k上下反复试探,整个公链赛道的竞争也越来越刺激。ETH、BNB、SOL这三条头部链的较量已经不是单纯比拼性能了,而是进入了真刀真枪的全面对抗阶段。

Today, we will review the current situation, key strategic deployments this year, long-term strategic positioning, and each project's growth potential from four perspectives. The content is practical, neither overly hyped nor overly critical. After reading, share your thoughts in the comments.

**Ethereum(ETH): Still the Financial Center of the Crypto World**

Although often criticized for slow transactions and high Gas fees, Ethereum's position in the industry remains unshakable. Wall Street giants like BlackRock prefer it, and DeFi lock-up volumes stay above hundreds of billions of dollars.

This year’s most exciting development is the launch of the "Glamsterdam" hard fork. This upgrade uses parallel processing technology, which has directly multiplied the mainnet performance several times, and Layer 2 transaction costs have also significantly decreased. More importantly, the world's hottest prediction market, Polymarket, has decided to migrate its main operations to the Ethereum ecosystem, which will bring a wave of new traffic and activity.

In the long term, Ethereum’s positioning is akin to Manhattan or Pudong in traditional finance. The cost of living is indeed high, but because it is the safest and most compliant, trillion-dollar applications involving real assets (RWA) can only run here.

As institutions continue to buy ETFs, many analysts are optimistic about ETH’s potential for significant growth in 2026.

It sounds like Glamsterdam's upgrade really has some substance, but can the gas fees really come down? How many times have they claimed this before, haha.

Glamsterdam's name is really outrageous haha, but I believe in the doubled performance, I just don't know when the Gas fees will be broken.

Gas fees are still expensive, but Glamsterdam really has something this time. Passing on Polymarket also counts as a signal.

97k repeatedly testing, I'm exhausted... Is Glamsterdam on ETH about to take off? But when can the old problem of Gas fees be completely solved?

No matter how much the gas fees decrease, you still have to pay them. Honestly, just buy some Layer 2 tokens.

Here comes the ETH hype again, and the Gas fees are still ridiculously high.
