Last year's 2024 peak, almost everyone around me flooded into the crypto market. The most outrageous thing was at an event, I told a group of newcomers: "This market can crash terribly, you can't even imagine how bad it could get."

And what happened? They just laughed and didn't take it seriously.

Fast forward to this year, in just one year, the market has fallen 90%. Some people went from being passionate to completely sober, while others were severely hurt. Back then, everyone thought the trend would keep rising, everyone thought they could make quick money. Now I realize—how brutal the cyclical nature of the crypto market is, and how important risk management is.

If you ask me, this wave really separated the leeks into layers—those who stay sober and those who are already gone in confusion. My friend went all in at the time, and now he’s lost even his principal. That’s the most heartbreaking part. Ha, you're so right. I also saw a bunch of people back then, with shining eyes, completely ignoring the word "risk." There are indeed quite a few who only wake up after a 90% drop, which is pretty harsh. If you ask me, this cyclical thing is just here to collect tuition fees, nothing else. After this round, anyone who still dares to tell me "steady profits," I'll just laugh.
